Hey There!
My name is Kaitlyn Callahan, and I'm an interdisciplinary theatre artist originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a child with all sorts of wildly creative energy, I caught the theatre kid bug at a young age, and grew up immersed in educational and community theatre. I just made the move back to Minneapolis after earning my BFA in Musical Theatre and Applied Dance minor at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. During my time at UMD, I participated in several Mainstage and student run productions, as well as teaching and performing with the local theatre scene. The thing that has always enamored me about theatre and storytelling is the community it builds: between cast and crew, between artists and audiences, inspiring young people to embrace who they are, and more. Theatre brings people together. Theatre gives people a place to belong. This philosophy manifests in my work as a playful and bold actor and educator who is passionate about portraying the truth in a character.
Outside of theatre, I also love to explore the outdoors, read (let's talk books!), spend time with loved ones, and am a huge matcha latte lover (the greener the better).
It is so great to meet you. Let's create together!
